Doug Murphy

President and CEO, CORUS

20Murphy helms Canada’s newest media empire. After assuming the top job at Corus, he bought Shaw Media for $2.65 billion, bringing 60 TV channels (including Global, HGTV Canada and Food Network Canada) and 39 radio stations under his control.
