Concluding, apparently, that a slice of pizza wasn’t portable enough, the Mad Italian Gelato Bar has introduced a topping-filled dough cone it calls the Zazzu (the pizza cone is already an international trend).

The restaurant’s “new pizza concept” comes in four varieties: $3.99 for the margherita version and $5.49 for pepperoni, meatball or veggie. “We like to look at it as not pizza, but actually the evolution of pizza,” owner Eli Turkienicz told the Toronto Star. While we’d agree that the Zazzu should definitely not be considered pizza, we’d argue the true evolution of the dish is a contested title, with strong contenders like the sausage-ringed German King from Pizza Hut.
