Six ways with smoothies, from the Big Carrot's Sarah Dobec

1 | Key Lime Pie (pictured) Blend ½ an avocado, ¼-cup full-fat coconut milk, 6 ice cubes, 2 tbsp lime juice, zest of ½ a lime, 1 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp vanilla whey protein.

2 | Solar Power Blend 5 oz Chocosol chocolate, 2 tbsp rice protein powder, ½ a banana, 1 oz coconut milk and 2 ice cubes.

3 | Iced Superfood Latte Blend 8 ice cubes, ½ cup water, 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder, 3 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 heaping tbsp raw cacao powder, 2 tsp Dandy Blend coffee substitute, 1 tsp chia seeds, ½ to 1 tsp maca powder and 1 to 2 tbsp honey.

4 | Green Goddess Blend ½ sliced Granny Smith apple, juice of 1 lemon, ½ an avocado, ¼ cup spinach, 3-inch chunk of cucumber and 6 oz water.

5 | Apple Pie Blend 1 sliced Granny Smith apple, 5 oz almond milk, dash of cinnamon, pinch of allspice, 2 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 tbsp flax seeds and 1 tbsp honey.

6 | Minty Melon Refresher Blend 1 cup cubed watermelon, ¼ cantaloupe, 5 oz steeped mint tea, 1 tbsp fresh mint and 2 to 3 ice cubes.
