Toronto Life celebrates Stylebook 2014 with red carpet event during TIFF
On September 4, Toronto Life celebrated the new Stylebook issue and the annual list of the city’s best dressed. The exclusive, invite-only event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and showcased the best of red carpet style on the opening night of TIFF. Guests arrived in their sartorial best, rubbing shoulders with the city’s celebs, athletes, socialites, fashion jet-set and more. In attendance: athlete Dion Phaneuf with wife, actress Elisha Cuthbert; TV stars David Chilton and Arlene Dickinson of Dragons’ Den; designers Dean and Dan Caten of DSQUARED2, Joe Mimran of Joe Fresh, Kimberley Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan; and model Yasmin Warsame.
The guests of honour—Toronto Life’s 23 best dressed of 2014—were among the crowd including models Chloe Rogers and Paul Mason; gossip blogger and TV host, Lainey Lui; PR execs Suzanne Cohon and Vanessa Morcom.
Party guests were treated to artisanal delicacies crafted by the Four Seasons Hotel, while the event’s premier sponsors pampered guests with a host of activity. Highlights include a Cayman Islands-inspired dessert menu; hair styling by John Frieda® led by their Canadian Creative Consultant Alain Larivée; custom cocktails and a special vodka tasting of Elit by Stolichnaya by global brand ambassador Brent Lamberti; a stunning display and accompanying mani-cam to test drive Swarovski’s statement pieces; and a beauty counter with makeup touchups provided by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté.

On September 4, Toronto Life celebrated the new Stylebook issue and the annual list of the city’s best dressed. The exclusive, invite-only event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto and showcased the best of red carpet style on the opening night of TIFF. Guests arrived in their sartorial best, rubbing shoulders with the city’s celebs, athletes, socialites, fashion jet-set and more. In attendance: athlete Dion Phaneuf with wife, actress Elisha Cuthbert; TV stars David Chilton and Arlene Dickinson of Dragons’ Den; designers Dean and Dan Caten of DSQUARED2, Joe Mimran of Joe Fresh, Kimberley Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan; and model Yasmin Warsame.
The guests of honour—Toronto Life’s 23 best dressed of 2014—were among the crowd including models Chloe Rogers and Paul Mason; gossip blogger and TV host, Lainey Lui; PR execs Suzanne Cohon and Vanessa Morcom.
Party guests were treated to artisanal delicacies crafted by the Four Seasons Hotel, while the event’s premier sponsors pampered guests with a host of activity. Highlights include a Cayman Islands-inspired dessert menu; hair styling by John Frieda® led by their Canadian Creative Consultant Alain Larivée; custom cocktails and a special vodka tasting of Elit by Stolichnaya by global brand ambassador Brent Lamberti; a stunning display and accompanying mani-cam to test drive Swarovski’s statement pieces; and a beauty counter with makeup touchups provided by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté.
