Katy Perry just shared an Instagram photo dump, and for a global pop star and noted yacht owner, the woman really is just like us. There she is feeling herself in a new red dress; posting semi-nonsensical feminist mantras; doing tarot; hitting the slopes with her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau; eating hot pot; and using her social media account to get revenge on her ex.

Oh, come on—we’re supposed to think that she hasn’t seen the photos of Orlando Bloom cavorting at the Super Bowl with a 20-something Swiss supermodel on Sunday night? Cut to Tuesday, when Perry captioned her carousel “let love be the revolution” (because “trolling my ex” is not the kind of thing you state explicitly). Particularly not for the “First Lady of Canada,” as some commenters have taken to calling her. Others have joked that she’s “Canada down”—a flick at Tate McRae’s recent dagger in the heart of her home country.
It remains unclear exactly where Trudeau and Perry’s ski date took place. But they seem to be back in Canada now, since the couple was also spotted in Montreal’s Outremont neighbourhood this week.

Here’s a first-hand account from a Montreal woman who says she approached Perry and Trudeau at a local bistro and asked the former prime minister if she could get a snap with his girlfriend. Trudeau reportedly turned her down, saying they were having “a private moment” (because “Why don’t you want a picture with me?” is also not the kind of thing you state explicitly).
Thus concludes the latest edition of “Where in the world is TruPerry?,” a global game of spot-the-super-couple that has taken us from Montreal to Santa Monica to Paris to Japan to Davos and back again. Can an appearance at the Olympics be far off?
