As American heavyweights Target and Nordstrom prep for the Canadian market, Joe Fresh is continuing its efforts to conquer the U.S., with plans for in-store shops in almost 700 J.C. Penney locations across the country. The Loblaw-owned brand already has several stand-alone locations in the New York area, including a flagship on Fifth Avenue that won kudos from Michael Bloomberg. Its newest foray into America will focus solely on Joe Mimran’s budget-friendly women’s line, and its rollout is set to start in April 2013. We hope Americans are fond of the colour orange.
