The holidays are one of the busiest times of the year, what with the constant crush of Christmas parties and merrymaking. The semi-regular All in One series returns to help you hit a single store for assembling the perfect survival suit to make it through to the New Year in style. Today’s shop: venerable men’s department behemoth Harry Rosen. The gold standard for dude duds, the five-floor store carries most major man lines, from Tom Ford and Giorgio Armani to Dolce and Gabbana and other fancy-sounding Italian suit makers. Pick up this ensemble (including the most beautiful blazer we’ve ever fondled longingly) for $6,000 or so (or around $1,500 without the blazer—but believe us, once you stroke this cashmere-wool blend, you may be unable to resist adding it to your bill) and feel secure knowing you’re the most sharply dressed gentleman in the congregation around the eggnog this year. Check out all eight pieces and a price breakdown in a gallery after the jump.
Boss Orange circle scarf, $135
Newsflash: circle scarves are cool for women and men. Stay warm with the perfect bulky scarf. (Image: Kevin Naulls)
Zanella Platinum trousers, $435
These wool pants are perfect for work (removing at the Christmas party for illicit posterior photocopying) and play (gambolling through the snow, post-party). (Image: Kevin Naulls)
Brunello Cucinelli blazer, $4,595

It costs the same as most used cars listed in the back of the classifieds, but a super-soft Brunello Cucinelli blazer (which comes with a thoughtful little gift label sewn into the lining) is worth blowing your entire Christmas bonus on. (Image: Kevin Naulls)
Harry Rosen shirt, $178
Everyone will be wearing the traditional—but boring—white button-up, so throw on a festive check. (Image: Kevin Naulls)
What about the high pressure sales help? Sorry totally turned off! I’ll shop the small independent. There are better stores in the GTA.TF even recommends them. Italian designers and all. Selection is great and service is hard working to accommodate your needs. If you gotta shop Rosens then shop from guys who cut their teeth there. Like Jerome’s, Le Firme, Nanni or Rego”s. All great retailers.
I just want to point out that this outfit is about a third the cost of my car.
Looks great!
$6000?
What percent of Toronto are you pitching this too?
