The history

Built in 1920, the home was owned by one family for over 40 years before it went on the market last year. Somehow, though the home wasn’t a fourplex, the new owners found themselves with four kitchens (one on each floor). After taking possession in September 2015, they completely gutted and replaced the interior. Other additions include a new roof, new energy efficient doors and windows (save for the stained glass windows, which were weatherproofed), new plumbing, basement waterproofing and new air conditioning units.

Big selling point

The large turret adds curb appeal outside. Inside, it offers three storeys of bay windows—like these, in the third-floor office:

Possible deal breaker

Though the home does have a detached garage, the shared driveway to access it is too narrow for most cars. Street parking is available, though—and, luckily, the home is located in a neighbourhood where driving isn’t always necessary.
