Condo of the Week: $900,000 for a Liberty Village penthouse with a terrace perfect for outdoor dining
Address: 55 East Liberty Street, Penthouse 5
Agent: Tim Bosworth, Brad J. Lamb Realty Inc., Brokerage
The Place: A two-bedroom penthouse on the 20th floor of a Liberty Village building with a concierge, gym, party room and indoor pool.
Bragging Rights: Unlike miniature condo balconies that rarely get used, the outdoor space runs the length of the apartment and opens into a roomy terrace that easily fits an eight-person table.
Big Selling Point: The unit has over $145,000 in upgrades, including new kitchen appliances, hardwood floors and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom.
Possible Deal Breaker: The bold wallpaper and bright purple mirror in the powder room are jarring departures from an otherwise calming design scheme.
By the Numbers:
• 1,502 square feet
• $737.02 in monthly maintenance fees
• 10-foot ceilings
• 3 bathrooms
• 3 lockers
• 2 bedrooms
• 1 den
• 1 parking space

Great space. LOVE the powder room wall paper – saw it at the Public House Gastropub in Chicago! http://www.publichousechicago.com/int2.jpg
Pretty good. If only it were being sold by someone other than a Brad Lamb & Co. person
Great looking unit, view looks awesome
Beautiful condo! Absolutely love the terrace, such a great place to entertain! The maint is also very reasonable for a space of this size in TO.
Nice condo but bad location. Traffic is terrible in that area and there’s constant construction nearby.
Welcome to the GTA. It’s hardly a liberty specific phenomenon.
It’s not a liberty specific phenomenon but the intersection of East Liberty and Strachan is a mess.
The blue tiles in the swimming pool looks dated already-YUCK
