Toronto Symphony Orchestra ContestFive lucky Insiders will win a pair of tickets to hear Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony performed by the TSO on Wednesday, October 25. This incredible evening concert at Roy Thomson Hall will also include György Ligeti’s avant-garde violin concerto, which is being performed to honour the 100th anniversary of the composer’s birth. In another special event in partnership with Amazon’s Tech Hub, TL Insiders will discover how AWS and MLSE are working together to transform experiences for fans of Toronto’s premier hockey, basketball, soccer and football teams, and how their work aids scouting and coaching decisions. Learn how data and insights are helping change the game for athletes and fans. Featured Speaker: Humza Teherany, Chief Technology and Digital Officer, MLSE. This event is happening at Amazon Toronto Tech Hub on Thursday, October 12 from 5-7 p.m.
Exclusive Whisky Tasting and Dinner Experience Only ten lucky Insiders have the opportunity to indulge at this chic, limited-time-only dining experience. On October 19, Insiders will get the chance to sip flavourful, special edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami cocktails at this intimate, reservation-only seating, and savour a mouthwatering multi-course menu using both hyper-seasonal and local ingredients with traditional Japanese cooking techniques, led by Executive Chef Ryusuke Nakagawa of One Michelin Star Restaurant Aburi Hana. Dinner at Myth
Summer may be over, but you can still enjoy that sun-drenched beach vacation feeling at Myth on King West. Join TL Insiders for an evening of food, wine and cocktails inspired by the Aegean Sea. In addition to a fantastic Mediterranean meal prepared by a chef from Mykonos, guests will enjoy an exciting fire show. ‘Golden Grecian’ themed attire is suggested but not required. It’s all happening from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26.
elle cuisine VIP Dinner & A Movie
It’s like going to the movies, but better. Join your fellow Insiders for a screening of a classic scary movie complete with canapes and cocktails (the first hour is open bar). Make it a Halloween-themed date night or come with friends—group seating options are available. Plus, ticket holders will get to vote on the film being screened: The Shining, Rocky Horror Picture Show or Scream. You’re in for a scary-good time! This event is taking place at The Symes on Friday, October 27 from 7-11 p.m.
Haunted House at Maison Selby
Get ready for a late-night house party at Maison Selby featuring live music, tarot card readings, and a burlesque performance by Miss Paige. Guests will enjoy spooktacular sips and French-inspired bites while dancing to music by DJ Adaline. Costumes are encouraged and a prize will be awarded to the best dressed of the night. Keep your eye out for Doctor Shots—he’ll be on hand to make sure you’re having a good time. This party starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 28.
