Admittedly, this was a harder list to put together than our worst-dressed roundup. But we dug through the TIFF photo archives and found these 10 individuals who did film fest fashion better than anyone else. See the slide show below.
While Pinto always looks gorgeous (the grey dress is Alexander McQueen), we prefer her in the pink Marchesa. (Images: left by Karon Liu, right by Charley Gallay/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images)

All the elements of this outfit (the ballerina top, long skirt and booties) make Maria Bello look sleek and sophisticated. A winning casual look. (Image: Toby Canham/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images)

Christensen always looks hot, but he was particularly smouldering at TIFF. We like the mix of a classic jacket and worker boots in his off–red carpet look, and the fantastic tailoring of his premiere suit. Our hometown beauty looked stunning in this bold J. Mendel dress. She was one of a few women who went for all-out glam in Toronto, and it paid off. We love a risk taker, especially one who can party to 3 a.m. in a floor-length gown like Akerman did. (Image: Jason Merritt/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images)

Hamm's red carpet looks were great, but we like seeing the star of The Town in a casual jeans and jacket look. Don Draper in plaid? Yes, please. (Image: George Pimentel/WireImage/Getty Images)

We kind of hate Rosamund Pike. No matter what she wears, she looks amazing. We spotted her several times during TIFF, each time looking fabulous. (Images: Karon Liu, Joe Scarnici/Getty Images, Roby Canham/Getty Images, George Pimentel/Getty Images)

Firth celebrated both his 50th birthday and the premiere of his Oscar-buzzing film The King's Speech at TIFF. He looked amazing at every outing, preferring slick, slim-cut charcoal suits. (Image: left by Philip Chin, right by Charley Gallay, both Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images)

Casual was the dress code at TIFF this year, but most actors failed to be casual and chic. Connelly is both in a smart YSL tuxedo jacket and shorts. (Image: George Pimentel/WireImage/Getty Images)

Those boots look ridiculous and chunky with that dress. A pair of shoes or sandals would have been more suitable and far more attractive.
I feel that a few of the “best dressed” actors could have been dressed better. However, Hilary Swank and Marion Cotillard are pretty good–Hilary always dresses fairly “swank”!–models herself more after Hepburn; always looks good on the Red Carpet! Asfor the others(females) they need some serious “fixing up”. As for the guys, well Colin Firth looked quite “debonnair” and John Hamm would look good in anything! A “fait du complet”!!
