Calling all inflation-weary audiophiles: if you’re tired of being disrespected by Ticketmaster’s exploitative service fees, we have refreshing news. Massey Hall, which saw a spectacular $184-million renovation just three years ago, dropped its fall sale earlier this week, and now seats to dozens of shows are going for the unthinkable price of $30. Tickets to Cindy Lee, an evening with Wim Hof, or an Itzhak Perlman show for the price of a downtown lunch—is this a recession indicator? There’s also an even cheaper two-for-$30 deal for select shows at TD Music Hall.

Other highlights between now and June of 2026 include a variety show hosted by everyone’s favourite astronaut-bard, Chris Hadfield; a performance by author and musician Leanne Betasamosake Simpson; Choir! Choir! Choir!‘s family-friendly “unsilent night” holiday singalong; and an evening of sharp-tongued yet charming takes from writer Fran Lebowitz.

For those getting an early start on holiday shopping, discounted concert tickets can make for prime stocking stuffers. But the sale ends November 10—so gifters had best get on it.
