Address: 89 Southvale Drive
Neighbourhood: Leaside
The Property: A renovated family home in Leaside, with a rear extension and a big back yard.
The History: The sellers bought the property in 2005, then renovated the kitchen and opened up the main living area. Now that they have three kids, they’re moving into a bigger property elsewhere in the neighbourhood.
The Fate: The buyers, a couple, loved the property’s presentation and outdoor space.
The Sale: The selling agent advertised the property in newspapers, and also on Facebook and Twitter. Immediately after the first agent open house the buyers put in bully offer for $180,000 over asking. The selling agent says her client was very happy to accept.
By The Numbers:
The living room is at the front of the house.
The living room and dining room are connected.
There’s plenty of space in here for eight, and the wainscotting adds a touch of class.
And the kitchen is right over there.
The main-floor rear extension has a cabin-like vibe.
There are three bedrooms on the second floor. The occupants of this one probably had to fight over the top bunk.
Overall, the sellers seem to have been big on bunk beds.
Here’s the master bedroom.
All three bedrooms share this bathroom, with nice hex-tile flooring.
A little Ikea couch action in the basement rec room.
And the backyard has a large awning to keep off the elements.
