A five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion in Etobicoke, steps from the Humber River. The home sits on a ravine-access lot and has an attached three-car garage with room for 12 more cars in the driveway. It’s a short drive from the 427, a quick bus ride from Royal York station and a five-minute walk from the future Eglinton Crosstown.
The house was built in 1995 and renovated in 2012. Former NHL player Michael Del Zotto, of Stouffville, purchased it in 2016, adding his own amenities, such as a backyard pergola. He sold the property five years later.

The mansion is set back from the street and shrouded by a front-yard forest for privacy.
Here’s the foyer, with 20-foot ceilings and a glass staircase.
To the left of the foyer is this office, which used to be a living room. That railing above the gas fireplace is for the staircase landing.
In the family room: another gas fireplace, wedged into a feature wall with a built-in TV and sound system. There’s oak hardwood flooring throughout the main floor.
Another view of the family room. Its roller blinds are remote-controlled.
Turn around to take in the kitchen, equipped with a curved breakfast bar, a Wolf gas cooktop, Caesarstone quartz counters and soft-closing cabinets.
The kitchen also comes with a bar and a wine fridge.
The dining area walks out to the back deck.
This laundry room and mudroom connects the main house to the attached garage.
There’s also this second office on the main floor, with tons of built-in shelving. Residents can access it from the garage—convenient for hosting clients without disturbing people in the main house.
Moving upstairs reveals the main bedroom, which was part of the 2012 renovation. It has coffered ceilings and a Juliet balcony overlooking the backyard.
The main bedroom also has a marble-surround gas fireplace.
Attached is the walk-in closet.
The ensuite bathroom has a jumbo shower with two ceiling-mounted rainfall heads and a built-in marble bench set against a marble wall.
Opposite the shower is a U-shaped Caesarstone quartz vanity centred around a makeup station.
A look at one of the secondary bedrooms, which has a built-in desk and storage.
This bedroom comes with a view of the driveway.
Both bedrooms share this quartz quarry of a washroom.
Now, the lower level, which has four walkouts to the backyard. This space does triple duty as a gym, a billiards room and a lounge.
There’s also a second kitchen—loaded with new appliances—down below.
And how about a temperature-controlled wine cellar with room for 100 bottles?
Those aged wines will pair nicely with a sojourn in the cinema. It has a retractable motorized screen and a sound system.
Here’s another bedroom. That’s a walkout on the right.
Down the hall is the bathroom.
Outside, the deck comes with a gas grill, a dining area and a lounge.
Del Zotto added the pergola-covered lounge when he owned the home.
Just next to the deck is this in-ground hot tub.
Here’s the grotto-like backyard as viewed from the house: more than enough space to host an entire hockey club.
Check out the artificial waterfall.
This is the second outdoor lounge, accessed from the billiards room, featuring a TV and JBL speakers.
Finally, a look at the heated three-car garage with epoxy flooring.
