Russell Peters does sweet 16s

“He did my 16th birthday party! Do you think he remembers?” is what we overheard at the ET Canada party on Sunday from a maxi-dress-wearing chicklet with Feist bangs as Peters hobnobbed with funnyman Jamie Kennedy in the press room (she repeated herself twice and in full voice so, yes, we know what we heard, and so does Liam Neeson, who was about 12 feet away with Cheryl Hickey at the time). As if on cue, Peters opened his jacket to strike a pose for the assembled photogs. We wanted to see him pull a rabbit out of there or make some balloon animals but, sadly, we don’t always get what we want during festival week—like Russell Peters entertaining us with party tricks, for example.
