Matty Matheson—celebrity chef, New York Times bestselling author, SAG-nominated actor, television host and, most recently, Aritzia collaborator—is bringing the focus firmly back to food. Yesterday, Matheson announced on Instagram that his Crystal Beach crowd-pleaser, Rizzo’s House of Parm, is “packing up the parm and rollin’ into town.”

From May 7 to 31, a sampling of RHP’s Italian American hits will be available for pickup and UberEats delivery right here in Toronto, offered as a set meal for two (or one really hungry person): two parms (eggplant or chicken) and one pasta, evoking Jersey Shore energy with options like spaghetti pomodoro or penne alla vodka.

Pre-orders are now live, adding a sense of urgency to the pop-up because, well, of course.

The pickup location appears to be set up in the former space of Bar Clams, and we can’t help but hope this pop-up is a test run for something more permanent. Is this the beginning of Rizzo’s House of Parm: City Edition? Insert Garfield-dreaming-of-lasagna meme.
