Three months after breaking ties with Khao San Road, Nuit and Jeff Regular are heading back to the Entertainment District district to launch Pai, the third Northern Thai spot from the husband-and-wife restauranteurs in the last six months (late last year they opened Sabai Sabai and a second location of Sukhothai). The news slipped in a tweet and Facebook posting from Janet Zuccarini, their business partner and owner of Gusto 101, King West’s popular Italian-restaurant-in-an-auto-garage. Named after the Thai city where the couple met and launched their first restaurant, Pai is slated to open in the fall in the former Golden Griddle space at 18 Duncan Street. [NOW]
