Le Sélect Bistro

Much to the dismay of the city’s francophiles, after nearly five decades of duck confit, Toronto’s pre-eminent Parisian restaurant closed in 2020. But Le Sélect is back, bébés. The dreamy dining room, with its burgundy banquettes and zinc bar, remains relatively unchanged. And the menu, this time under the eye of executive chef Ted Corrado, sticks to classic French hits—escargot, cassoulet, steak frites. 432 Wellington St. W., leselectbistro.com
