Spotted: Natalie Portman cringing at her first movie at the TIFF Lightbox

Natalie Portman reminisced about her child-acting days at Wednesday night’s TIFF soirée fundraiser. During her onstage Q&A with Cameron Bailey, the actress watched clips from different moments in her career, including one from her first movie: Léon: The Professional, which she made when she was just 11. When asked what she thought of her childhood performance now, Portman cringed. “I’m doing everything wrong,” she said.

After the Q&A, she went upstairs to Luma for the after-party, where lucky (paying!) guests also got to rub elbows with Canadian starlet Sarah Gadon, who gave a speech about how TIFF helped build her career, and Suits’ resident genius  Patrick J. Adams, who was mobbed by adoring fans.
