Drake: rapper, actor, 6 God...comedian? Reporting on the new owners of the Rivoli the other day, the CBC unearthed a gem of a video: Drake doing improv in the back room of the Queen West bar. Judging by the Jimmy Brooks afro, the clip is from Drake’s Degrassi days. He plays a character named Damien, awkwardly joking through audience-suggested twists and turns with his sidekick—they flirt, he’s gay, she’s pregnant—before breaking into a Whose Line–style hoedown. Given Drizzy’s affinity for archival footage, we fully expect him to sample the song on his next single.
