Say goodbye to the original Riverdance, forever. The show, which had its North American premiere at Radio City Music Hall in 1996, charmed the elderly in cities far and wide and was a saviour for anyone struggling to find the perfect last-minute birthday gift for their parents. Although other versions will be staged in the future, the original tour will end its run in the U.S. in June—Toronto performances are set for April 19 to April 21 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. That means this really is your last chance to see Moya Doherty and John McColgan’s beloved performance. We’re not joking.
