Don’t have tickets for Arcade Fire’s concert at the Toronto Islands next weekend? No worries. The band will broadcast their New York show live on YouTube at 10 p.m. tonight here. The Webcast will be manned by Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning director and writer Terry Gilliam (Brazil, The Fisher King, Monty Python and the Holy Grail) and will showcase the Montreal group at one of their two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. After brilliant reception of their latest album, The Suburbs, it looks like Arcade Fire is learning from Justin Bieber that the best way to make it big is through YouTube and acclaimed directors. We’re not complaining.
