The city has been eerily quiet since Blue Jays fever broke earlier this month following the Jays’ loss to the LA Dodgers in game seven of the action-packed World Series.
We know baseball fans are still holding the season close—Dodgers supporters have been donating to Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children as a magnanimous gesture. The Toronto Star reported that, as of two days ago, donations had reached $75,000.

But what about Davis Schneider and the gang? We miss knowing what they’re doing.
Speaking with TSN’s OverDrive, Schneider confirmed that the Jays are still in touch. They may not be having sleepovers at the Marriott, but they talk often.
“This team was special. I know a lot of teams say that after every year, but I truly believe that every single guy in that clubhouse loves each other,” said Schneider, who added that they have an active group chat. “We don’t talk baseball. We just talk about life and what people are up to.”
Does the chat happen to have any Bo Bichette intel?
