
There are beer flights, wine flights, caesar flights and even martini flights. Now, a Yorkville restaurant is taking the fun format out of the drinks realm and serving flights of one of Canada’s most beloved comfort foods: poutine. Can’t decide between Korean barbecue and Montreal smoked meat poutines? Now you don’t have to.

Located on the second floor of Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville, Día Restaurant and Lounge is serving poutine flights all month long, letting diners mix and match three of its globally inspired takes for $21.
Día’s poutine menu debuted earlier this summer, when diners were pairing them with the restaurant’s beer flights while watching World Cup matches. After they proved to be a popular item, the restaurant extended the offering to the end of the month.

Diners can choose from eight international variations that celebrate Canada’s multiculturalism. Standouts include the butter chicken poutine, which tops fries with makhani butter chicken, mint yogurt and pickled onion; the Hat Trick, a triple-meat creation with smoked bacon, pulled beef and sausage; and the East Coast donair, with donair beef, tomato, onion and that signature sweet garlic sauce. Patriotic traditionalists aren’t left out either: the Oh, Canada tops the spuds with braised beef gravy, maple bacon, cheese curds and shallots.

The limited-time menu is Día’s way of celebrating what it calls “endless Canadian pride,” putting a global spin on one of Canada’s most iconic dishes. Poutine flights (and full-size versions) are available for lunch and dinner until July 31—though Día says they could stick around longer if diners keep ordering them.
