Although this figure looks terrible to the untrained eye, it’s actually positive news for the Waterloo-based smartphone maker. According to the CBC, analysts had expected a far bigger loss. Also, when certain one-time restructuring expenses are excluded from the calculations, the number drops just to $11 million.
