The Find: a pair of Gatsby-esque sunglasses with just the right number of Swarovski crystals
It happens every year. Mid-August hits, and we realize there are only a few precious weeks of summer left. Cue a mad whirl of patio drinking, Sunday trips to the Island, leisurely bike rides and picnicking in Trinity Bellwoods. For all that sunshine-y goodness, it’s important to strike just the right note of sophisticated insouciance, which is why we like these Art Deco–inspired sunglasses designed by Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz (who is, of course, known for his signature spectacles). They’re painstakingly handmade in Italy by De Rigo, surprisingly flattering and have to be the coolest—and sparkliest—iteration we’ve seen of this year’s round sunglasses trend. $498.
