Hami and Renata Kaveh met at university in Ottawa. She’s now 31 and a fashion photographer, he’s 35 and a business analyst, and their styles are vastly different. Renata likes pretty, girly things, while Hami is more of a rugged, masculine minimalist when it comes to design. When they moved into their Davisville apartment five years ago, Renata took over the decorating. She opted for a neutral palette with white walls and mostly white furnishings to showcase her art, photography and quirky accent pieces.
