6 in 1: an outfit from The Narwhal that is perfect for a fancy party

Now that TIFF is done and dusted, we return to our semi-regular All in One series, in which we visit stores around the city and prove that one-stop shopping is possible for the ever-busy consumer. Today’s shop: The Narwahl in Rosedale (8 Price Street). This uptown boutique is filled with popular chi-chi contemporary brands like Helmut Lang, Mara Hoffman, Rachel Comey, and A.L.C. The pieces may be pricey, sure, but we think each item has a life beyond 2011, which is justification enough for throwing down plastic (or that birthday money grandma keeps sending) at the register. The total damage was around $4,500, but for a complete outfit that can be worn as separates, it is worth the investment. Check out the individual price breakdown and shots of the pieces in a gallery below.
