LMAO, Suzanne Rogers even with all her husband’s money wears whatever she wants and it’s still mostly aweful?
This person is not a reason to “love” Toronto. Although, it could be a good example in a feature titled “What Not To Love About Botox.”
Full marks to her for supporting charities and maintaining her appearance.
I’ll assume she’s a lovely person. That doesn’t make her special or any reason to love Toronto. In fact, to the rest of the country, it would probably be the opposite.
I don’t really care about her “charity work”. She’s an incredibly wealthy, stay-at-home mother who likely has more than one nanny. It is simply an expectation of her “position” in that circle to apply herself in that way; if you want to call it “charity work” when you put on a $10,000 dress and get your friends to donate a few hundred dollars to the cause of the day. It’s not like she’s working with families stricken by AIDS in Africa. Or even bringing general awareness of a social problem to the average person, since the average person isn’t attending expensive charity balls.
I’m glad she wears whatever she wants. As she should. As for her style….I’m not convinced it merits this level of fawning (cf The Coveteur). Her southern belle hairstyle alone detracts from whatever “style” is evidenced by her outfits, and she does need to spend way less time with her cosmetic dermatologist and/or plastic surgeon. Then I might respect her “style” a bit more and better understand the obsession Toronto Life and TL Fashion seem to have with her.
The hairstyle?late 80’s debacle
the face? a Middleton clinic exercise in what not to do.
Charity? when she cleanses her face, dons less couture fashion and walks in a haitian street with orphans…maybe then i will applaud
a reason to love toronto?outside of her rarified circle and the fawning pages of TL …………..other than the over billed customers of her husband who really knows this dame?
Yawn. It is interesting how Toronto Life has recycled every old photograph of Suzanne and have used it every time they talk about her..really? Is that your point here? Really getting stale and you are too obvious in your motives..I think you’ve done about 10 pieces on this woman with all the same photos..I’ve seen unbelievable photos of this woman and interestingly you have never used them..Anytime I have seen Rogers out in the past 2 years she has been dressed amazing and her personal style is fabulous.Any credible article written about her uses up the date photos and talks about her in a very positive way. It is ONLY Toronto Life that sinks to this tabloid trash and opens up an blackboard to losers to write jealous and envy fueled comments…anonymously. All other writers who have written about Suzanne actually put their name to their articles.
Rogers is a very attractive woman, wealthy, a woman who is known internationally for her style positively (hair and all..) and an amazing mother and supporter of various good causes in the city
I guess really having “it all’ really pisses off alot op people…
Oh ES, please get off your high horse.
Anyone who is an unemployed wealthy stay at home wife who bothers to create a linked in profile, and then has the absurdity to put “Fashion Philanthropist” (WTF!???) deserves to be laughed at…
you need to get a sense of humour
