Pop-Up Pick: snag Pride-themed paraphernalia from the Drake General Store at the Bay

Drake General Store and the Bay, two of Toronto’s most devoted peddlers of Canadiana gear, have come together to create a themed pop-up shop in celebration of World Pride. Located within the Bay’s oft-neglected Bloor Street location, which happens to be conveniently close to many Pride festivities, the space is packed with cheeky party favours and on-point apparel from the Drake General Store. Shoppers can pick up the store’s popular “I Heart T.O.” t-shirt (produced in collaboration with the organization One Love Toronto), as well this perfectly cool rainbow maple-leaf tank top—both of which are designed and made locally. There are novelty items, too, like “I’m Gay” balloons, rainbow Happy Socks and, for hard-partying Pride-goers, a special tea designed to treat hangovers. Or these: gold-rimmed tumblers depicting all your favourite vices.

Until July 3. 44 Bloor St. E., 416-972-3333, drakegeneralstore.ca
