Bottled up: a modern wine rack for under $25

Now that patio season has come to an abrupt end, LCBO gems are replacing local microbrews as Toronto’s preferred tipple. For both casual drinkers and aficionados without cellars, finding a good wine rack is an ongoing struggle. (Scrolled wrought iron versions are the dominant fashion.) This inexpensive six-bottle rack designed by Umbra is small enough for the space-deprived and modern enough to suit sleek condos. When the rack is full, the bottles look as though they are floating mid-air. It’s just the right way to showcase those prized bottles from Sonoma County.

Umbra wine rack, $22 at Ziggy’s at Home, 794 College St., 416-535-8728.
