Rohan Walters’ Coxwell Avenue house is set to be sold and double in size

Just a week after hitting the market, architect Rohan Walters’ house on stilts has already sold to a couple with two young children, who reportedly paid over $400,000 for the property (a chunk more than the asking price of $349,000). Despite a dearth of closets and a minuscule kitchen, the house received six bids, including one that was “significantly higher” than asking, according to the Toronto Star. The buyers, an architect and an interior designer, won over Walters with their passion for the house and their plans to build a second pod on the property. Read the entire story [Toronto Star] »
