Location: Woolwich Price: $10,300,000 Size: 6,505 square feet plus a 3,949-square-foot finished basement and a 4,000-square-foot workshop Bedrooms: 4 Bathrooms: 8 Parking spots: 100 Real estate agent: Patricia Inacio, Corcoran Horizon Realty

The Place

A four-bedroom, eight-bathroom stone bungalow with an attached three-car garage and a separate workshop—all sitting on 122 acres of Woolwich land. The cottage comes with swimmable ponds (one is full of rainbow trout) and a motocross track. A smart home, the place is loaded with built-in tech such as speakers throughout, a central entertainment system, and controls for the lighting and the many fireplaces. It’s a 90-minute drive from downtown Toronto and a few minutes from the small town of Maryhill.

The History

The original farmhouse that once stood on this land was built in 1856. The current owners purchased the property in 2011 and built this new house as both a full-time home and an escape from the city for friends and family. They’re now downsizing to travel more, so they’re putting their cottage on the market.

The Tour

Here’s the front lawn and entrance. The structure is set back from the main road for privacy. There’s room to park more than 100 cars on the property.
