Neighbourhood: Riverdale
Price: $1,299,000 Fees: $1,199.80 a month Size: 1,455 square feet plus a 350-square-foot basement Bedrooms: 1+1 Bathrooms: 3 Real estate agent: Stephen Braun, Sotheby’s International Realty Canada

The Place

A one-plus-one-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in the Glebe Lofts on Pape just south of Danforth. The home comes with many features that are rare for a condo of this price: three levels (including a finished basement), a back patio and three bathrooms. It also comes with an underground parking spot and a storage locker. Pape station and the many shops on Danforth are a short walk away, and motorists can easily access both the DVP and Kingston Road.

The History

The cathedral was originally the Riverdale Presbyterian Church, which dates back to 1912. In 2005, a large portion of the building was converted into 32 lofts. Part of it still hosts congregations on Sundays.
