On Wednesday, August 13, more than 600 guests gathered at the Evergreen Brick Works for the 2025 Summer Garden Party — presented by Tricon and Toronto Life — that brought the city’s best food, music and cultural experiences to life under the stars.
Hosted in one of Toronto’s most iconic green spaces, the evening blended candlelit ambience, live entertainment, curated bites and immersive activations in a celebration of summer and connection.

Guests enjoyed an elevated selection of food and beverage offerings from across the city’s culinary scene.
Oliver & Bonacini Catering served elegant canapés including compressed watermelon with whipped feta, butter-poached lobster and truffle flatbreads.

Mamakas offered Greek favourites including chicken and lamb souvla with tzatziki and horiatiki salad.

Khazana brought bold Indian flavours with curry shots, pani puri, chana tikki, fresh naan from an on-site tandoor and desserts like chai crème brûlée and mango tres leches.

Good Behaviour Ice Cream treated guests to scoops of Afternoon Tea and blueberry lemonade sorbet.

Drink stations featured wines from Pelee Island Winery, craft brews from Steam Whistle and Beau’s, cider from Strongbow, rum cocktails from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and jasmine milk teas from Chatime’s bubble tea truck.

The night’s soundtrack included elegant string covers by The Sonority Sisters, followed by a chill lounge DJ set from Jon Daniels and a powerhouse vocal set by headliner Andye, presented by Universal Music Canada. Daniels returned with an upbeat closing set to finish the night on a high note.

Even a light summer storm couldn’t dampen the energy — guests simply shifted to covered spaces, where the party carried on late into the evening.

Guests were treated to various sponsor activations throughout the venue, including:

Saint Lucia Tourism Authority: a photobooth and trip giveaway

Amber Flowers: dried lavender bouquet cart

Penguin Random House Canada’s Book Nook: A cozy lounge featuring floral décor, accent seating, fall book previews, and Canadian titles like One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches by Matty Matheson and the forthcoming memoir Book of Lives by Margaret Atwood

“There’s a Canadian book on any subject and in every genre,” said Kara Savoy, Penguin Random House Canada’s Director of Integrated Marketing. “Toronto Life is a true champion of local authors, so the Book Nook at their returning Garden Party felt like a natural fit.”

Tricon also hosted an exclusive resident raffle, offering curated prizes such as Gee Beauty facials, bluboho jewelry, Nutbar wellness products, and one month’s free rent. Designed as a special thank-you to Tricon residents, the raffle underscored the company’s commitment to curating exceptional experiences that foster connection through unique local offerings and programming.

“Through our partnership with Toronto Life, we’re creating shared experiences that reflect the full potential of rental living–community, culture, connection–not just for our Tricon residents, but for the broader city as well,” said Andrew Joyner, Managing Director and Head of Multi-Family at Tricon.

The 2025 Summer Garden Party was a showcase of what makes Tricon’s approach to rental living unique: signature events that build community between residents, local creators, and the city itself.
It was a celebration of summer in Toronto, brought to life by thoughtful partnerships, immersive programming, and the shared joy of being together.
