The Daughter

The Daughter

Throw a rock in the west end and you’ll more than likely hit a bar that sells natural wine. In Davisville, not so much. But, with her new wine bar The Daughter, Marissa Goldstein brings funky orange wines and chuggable chilled glou glous (French for “glug glugs”) to Bayview Avenue. (She stocks classic bubbles, Burgundy and Beaujolais too.) The food is a mix of snacky staples, mortadella sliders and thick slices of fresh challah, toasted and topped with whipped ricotta and hot honey. 1560 Bayview Ave., unit A, thedaughter.ca
