I didn’t touch it. The cheese and the cinnamon, all that, I just didn’t. There’s not too much I’d miss when it comes to food, but that one I passed on.

–Even Mayor Rob Ford, not a man known for his vast reserves of self-control, turned down the Maple Bacon Cronut Burger at the CNE on Sunday, three days before reports tied the meat-stuffed faux-nut to a nasty bout of food poisoning. Ford, who hosted his weekly radio show from a kiosk on the exhibition grounds, had less to say about the alleged police investigation into his posse of ex-cons and their blundering attempts to retrieve the (alleged) cellphone crack video.
