Matthew Sullivan has bounced from pop up to restaurant and back again. After winning raves with his ambitious dinner series Boxed, Sullivan took over the kitchens at Malena and L’Unita for a precious few months when he quit to go back to the pop-up biz. Then at the end of last year, he moved back into a traditional kitchen as the head chef of the new Leslieville wine bar Skin and Bones. Now, only five months later, he’s left that restaurant to do pop-up dinners once again. For the latest in the Boxed series, Sullivan is serving a six-course Asian tasting menu with drink pairings ($60-70), plus a Taipei-inspired snack menu for people who want to stop in after the main meal. The dinners run June 3 and 4 at a mystery location on Queen Street West.
