Amsterdam Brewery’s giant new 14,000-square-foot waterfront brewpub, which has been in the works for almost a year, is finally going to open on July 1 next door to the Harbourfront Centre on Queens Quay.  The restaurant will serve Amsterdam beers (natch) and standard pub food, and the sprawling lakeside complex will also include a craft brewery and a retail store selling limited-edition brews. Size-wise, the new spot easily trumps rival craft brewpub Millstreet Beer Hall with 500 seats indoors, plus another 325 on a lakeside patio. [Canadian Beer News]
