TIFF Red Carpet: Mia Wasikowska and Jesse Eisenberg make their quirky-cute couple debut at The Double

Saturday’s gala for Brit director Richard Ayoade’s The Double marked the romantic red carpet debut for new couple Mia Wasikowska and Jesse Eisenberg, who became close while working on the Dostoyevsky-based psychodrama. The pair posed for the press outside the Elgin Theatre and talked Toronto: Wasikowska’s been holed up here filming Maps to the Stars with Robert Pattinson and Eisenberg’s been spotted keeping her company. When asked for their favourite haunts, Wasikowska raved about the Bolognese at Sotto Sotto on Avenue Road, but Eisenberg was a bit less forthcoming—he said we’d have to consult his blog, Jesse’s Guide to Toronto.
