The cast of The Real Housewives of Vancouver includes a pop singer, a “domestic goddess” and a woman who lists two divorces as her primary source of income (she’s 29, allegedly). Take a look at what Vancouver has that Toronto apparently doesn’t in a primer video for the anticipated Slice show launching April 4. We said it before, and we’ll say it again: Toronto needs a Real Housewives franchise. We’d watch the Real Housewives of Rosedale or the Real Housewives of Forest Hill—heck, we’d even watch the Real Housewives of the Bridal Path.
One of them is only 29? Whaatttt? Surgery and fillers are a scary thing.
I read that the women in Toronto approached for the Housewives franchise turned it down.
the only thing real is the amt of sillicone they have in their boobs and that they obviously have wayyyy more cash than they do class….another dumbing down of our tv culture, mimicing (sadly) the USA.
Notice how Bravo didn’t pick this up. The show will be cancelled before long. Sorry but if it’s not in Bravo’s hands, you know it’s up for a big FAT FLOP!

Actually Lesliez, you’re wrong about that. This show is absolutely part of the Real Housewives franchise, which is owned and produced by Bravo in the U.S.
All of the Housewives shows air on Slice Network in Canada. That’s been the arrangement for years, but they are all produced by Bravo U.S. because they own the rights to the entire franchise.
What is yet unknown is whether or not RHOV will air on Bravo U.S. after it airs on Slice in Canada. They will probably wait to see what the viewer ratings are like before deciding.
If they were to take all of the housewives in Vancouver and pick 5 that are reprensative of that city’s culture – they would not all be white, or blonde.
If anyone knows anything about Vancouver they know anyone who owns a house on a lot is or almost a millionaire. You can own a hovel and it’s worth a fortune so owning a 3.5 million dollar home is nothing impressive. Also, west van is not Vancouver. And miss divorcee x2 looks like

Also these women look fake and ridiculous and DO NOT represent the REAL housewives of Vancouver, the naturally beautiful, hardworking women who are amazing and not fake wanna be barbie dolls. I will not be waisting my time watching this garbage.
As someone who has lived in both Vancouver and Toronto, I can say that I am not surprised the franchise went to Vancouver before Toronto.
Vancouver is such a BEAUTIFUL city, with amazing views, water, beaches, mountains, etc. The weather is a lot better, and there are wold class restaurants and shopping centres. The cost of living is a lot higher than in Toronto, with he cost of homes starting at $1M… in the suburbs. I find the comments made by a lot of people on this site about Vancouver, the housewives, and the fact that it came to Vancouver before Toronto awful. These are beautiful and succesful women! Before saying anything about how “class-less” these women are… watch what you are saying or writing first.
I am proud to say that I live in Vancouver, and I cannot wait to watch the drama unfold.
