First 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Usher and Beyoncé came under fire for performing for members of Moammar Gadhafi’s family. Now it has emerged that Nelly Furtado also accepted money in the past to perform for the Libyan leader’s clan. A lot of money. While many others artists are refusing to comment, the Portuguese-Canadian pop star came clean on Twitter.

In a tweet posted three hours ago, she wrote:

In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the $

According to documents leaked by WikiLeaks, Carey was paid $1 million to perform for Gadhafi’s son, Muatassim, at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Barts in 2008. Beyoncé and Usher performed for an undisclosed amount the following year, while 50 Cent performed for Muatasssim at a 2005 film festival in Venice.
