CONFIRMED: Ben Affleck will attend TIFF 2012

Ben Affleck was all over TIFF back in 2010, and we’re happy to report that he’s returning this year—as he should, given that his film Argo will have its world premiere during the festival. Affleck both directs and stars in the thriller about how the CIA got six stranded American embassy employees out of Tehran in 1979 by having them pose as a Hollywood film crew. Here’s hoping he loses the 1970s boy bangs (see above) before hitting the red carpet.
