If you spend a lot of time on YouTube, you’ve likely heard about the massively successful It Gets Better Project. The video series was created by sex columnist Dan Savage to remind gay youth contemplating suicide that things will not always be so difficult. Since launching this past September, the project has featured hundreds of everyday citizens and notable celebrities telling their stories of coming out, high school bullying, difficult parents, insensitive friends, and making the promise that “it gets better.”

You may also have heard about the current Toronto production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical because, uh, this is the second time today we’re blogging about it. The cast and crew of this flamboyant and fabulous musical decided to make their own It Gets Better video, and the inspiring 10-minute clip (above) is the result.
