Broken Social Scene to live stream upcoming NYC show

After two packed shows this past December at the Sound Academy, Broken Social Scene is getting ready to embark on the second half of their North American tour with a show in New York City (the only Canadian date is in London this Sunday). If you missed the two Toronto concerts, you’re in luck: BSS has invited all their fans to join them via the miracle of the interweb for their NYC show at Terminal 5 on January 18th at 9 p.m.

Broken Social Scene has a habit of incorporating local talent into their shows; this past August, their concert on Olympic Island featured Sebastien Grainger from the defunct Death From Above 1979 and sometime BSSers Emily Haines (of Metric) and Feist. Given the live-stream treatment the NYC show is getting, we’re expecting some equally exciting guest stars streamed live into our living room.
