Perhaps singing about wunderkinds at the Olympics inspired her to have a kid of her own. Alanis Morissette, the Ottawa songstress every guy is terrified of breaking up with, is preggers. Morissette broke the news in probably the coyest way possible: by sneaking it in at the bottom of a “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” list in Us Magazine. Confession No. 6 states that marrying singer and rapper Mario Treadway (a.k.a. Souleye) in May was “the smartest thing” she’s ever done and No. 3 is that she’s writing a book that’s “part psychology, part philosophy, part spirituality, part Q&A, part prose, part art...and is not a memoir.” Good—the last thing we need is another star bragging about being happily married and loving family life. Oh, wait.
