Remember July, when a sudden rainy pummelling turned basements into swimming pools and Ferraris into rafts? Today’s predicted storm isn’t expected to be quite that bad, but Environment Canada is warning that Southern Ontario may get 25 to 50 millimetres of rain starting around midday. This wouldn’t be such a problem if the droplets weren’t expected to be accompanied by a “significant snow melt.” Flooding is a possibility.

Be safe during this evening’s commute. And if you happen to spot any amazing downpour-related sights, be sure to send us your photos. There’s a chance we’ll publish them tomorrow.
