When our favourite sparkly socialite, Suzanne Rogers, is in the news, it’s usually for one of two reasons: to praise her fashion sense or to pay heed to her philanthropic heart. This time, it’s for a combination of the two. Rogers’s newest charitable endeavour is a series of dinner-and-a-(runway)-show events titled Suzanne Rogers Presents that benefit Healthy Kids International, a new initiative at SickKids. The series begins next month with a serious guest coup: Oscar de la Renta, who will present his fall collection. Rogers is, of course, a customer of his. Tickets start at $15,000 for a table of 1o.
