A stadium’s worth of people rode the Island ferries over Labour Day weekend

49,189 —The number of passengers who rode the Toronto Island ferries over the Labour Day long weekend, according to numbers supplied by the city’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation division. The busiest single day on the ferries so far this summer was July 12, when 25,376 riders hopped on board.
