Sportsnet cements its multi-platform dominance with the launch of new bi-weekly mag

Sports fans left unsatisfied by the Rogers Sportsnet’s paltry TV, radio, online and mobile offerings have a glossy new way to get their fix with the launch of—wait for it—Sportsnet magazine. Turns out the names on the inside are rather more impressive, including big personalities Bob McCown and Stephen Brunt (the latter ending a 30-year stint at the Globe), Maclean’s funnyman Scott Feschuk and Fan 590 hosts Greg Brady and Jim Lang. The premiere issue—featuring a big NHL preview package—runs to 114 pages and can be picked up for only three bucks.
